Welcome to the Celtic Yard Home page. Here are a few examples of the type of work that we do at the Yard Studio. We have more than 500 colour designs of most of the windows that have been installed in churches worldwide since the studio began in 1948. Virtually every subject that is depicted is suitable for a church window. We have recently been working on architectural glass designs that tend, by definition, to be more abstract or schematic, however, the quality of glass we use is the same, hand blown glass, that goes into the very best church windows.
The Celtic Yard Studio is continuing this excellence of artistic work with an emphasis on architectural projects as well as carrying on the work of traditional windows for churches.
At The Celtic Yard Studios we are able to produce new work to a standard of execution that we hope can match some of the best of this art form. A fully painted stained glass window of any size that is to be dedicated in a church or, a simple leaded light design for a domestic setting.
We are also able to renew and repair older windows that, for whatever reason, have been damaged or have suffered the ravages of time.
